Underground Storage Tank (UST) Certified Operator

As of August 8, 2012, a UST Facility must have certified operator assigned to the site

The Underground Storage Tank (UST) program requires site operators to have a trained Certified Operator on site. The training and certification is offered locally through DelTech. UST systems which are subject to the requirements of the UST compliance program can be found at gas stations, manufacturing facilities, schools, and hospitals.

DNREC approved training for Class A and B Operators is currently offered at the Delaware Technical & Community College (DTCC) Stanton, Dover, and Georgetown campuses. There are not separate classes for A and B certification. Completion of the class certifies you as both an A and B Operator. Pre-Registration is required and must be made through DTCC. Cost of the program is $199.
