Index of State of Delaware Business Licenses and Registrations
The Office of the State Bank Commissioner licenses and regulates hundreds of non-bank businesses that provide financial services in Delaware. Businesses engaged in consumer lending, such as mortgage lenders or consumer finance companies, are licensed as Licensed Lenders.

1 year, after the initial license period. The application is due by 12/1 each year. Renewal process begins in August. Applications are mailed to companies in August. Applications are available online beginning in September.
