Long Term Care Facilities



Licenses for Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities, Group Homes, Neighborhood Homes, and Rest Homes

The Division of Division of Health Care Quality is responsible for State licensure of long term care facilities in Delaware. All nursing homes, intermediate care facilities, assisted living facilities, group homes, neighborhood homes, rest (residential) homes, and rest (family care) homes must be licensed to operate in the State of Delaware. The Division also certifies nursing homes that wish to participate in the Medicare and/or Medicaid programs.
