Nursing Home Administrator
The Board of Examiners Of Nursing Home Administrators issues nursing home administrator and temporary nursing home administrator licenses. It also approves administrator-in-training programs.
The primary objective of the Delaware Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators is to protect the public from unsafe practices and practices which tend to reduce competition or fix prices for services. The Board must also maintain standards of professional competence and service delivery. To meet these objectives, the Board •develops standards for professional competency •promulgates rules and regulations •adjudicates complaints against professionals and, when necessary, imposes disciplinary sanctions.

Nursing Home Administrator licenses expire on 7/31 of odd years. Administrator in Training licenses expiration dates are variable. Temporary licenses expire three months from issuance.
